Lisa Marie

I have been writing since grade school, and penned stories for my grade school, high school and college newspapers. I worked at two newspapers post-college before I found my home at Cision, where I currently work as the Research Development Manager. I write for Cision's online trade newsletter, CisionNavigator and also am an author at CisionBlog.

In my personal life, I am one of three children raised by an amazing mother and father in Joliet, IL. They taught us to be honest, true, hard-working and loyal, and their guidance has provided me with years of wisdom.

I am engaged to a wonderful man and I cannot wait to continue experiencing life with him. He is a high school history teacher and he makes me a better person every day. Plus, he doesn't mind that I love to shop :)

My sister and brother are a large part of my foundation, and I'm so grateful that our relationships have matured as we've grown. No more fighting over sweatshirts and TV shows! Nowadays, I talk to my sister daily and bug my brother at least once a week. Thanks to my sister and her loving husband Jake, I am the proud aunt of Michael man. I am not at all bias when I say: he is the cutest little boy in the whole entire world.

My life would not be whole without my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course, my friends, and I try to tell them that as much as possible. Goodness, I'm one lucky girl.

In a few paragraphs, that is all about me. Oh, and I would like to own a pig some day.
